Kindergarten Supply List
In preparation for our year together, I am asking each child to bring in the items listed below. Your child should bring all the requested materials to school on your child's testing day. If your family, for any reason cannot at this time purchase supplies, please email me. There are many community members that have reached out to help children and families during these difficult times. Names of those needing assistance, will be kept in confidence.

Kindergarten Afternoon Snack
Here is a list of suggested pre-packaged snacks you may want to send to school once a month for 24 children:

SUPPLY LIST
- 1 book bag large enough for your child's folder (see below) to fit easily in (labeled with your child’s name)
- 1 two pocket folder* (labeled with your child’s name) (*This folder will be kept in your child’s book bag for daily work and messages from school.
- 1 child size water bottle (labeled with your child's name) Students will need to bring a water bottle daily to school as we no longer use the school water fountains. Water bottles may only contain plain water. Please do not put pop or juice in your child's water bottle. Please also do not add flavoring to the water. (If you have questions or concerns as to why children are requested to only bring plain water to school feel free to ask me or email me.)
- 1 box of Crayola brand watercolor paints 16 colors Crayola paints last longer than other types.(labeled with your child’s name)
- 1 set of headphones (no earbuds please) for use with our school tablets, in a Ziplock bagged (labeled with your child’s name)
- 1 pair of metal blade scissors Fiskar brand is recommended (labeled with your child’s name)
- 1 bottle of Elmer’s white glue (labeled with your child’s name)
- 1 12 pack of Ticonderoga sharpened pencils (no name needed)
- 1 box of 24 count crayons (labeled with your child’s name)
- 1 pack (4 colors) of Play dough (no name needed)
- 1 container of baby wipes wipes or Clorox wipes (no name needed)
- 1 pack of washable magic markers (thin or thick) (no name needed)
- 4 black Expo markers (no name needed)
- 4 small glue sticks (no name needed)
- 1 pack of Ziplock baggies any size (no name needed)
- 1 box of tissues (no name needed)
- 3 or 4 Magic Erasers (original, no soap)
- 2 thick highlighters (no name needed)
- 1 pack of 4 x6 index cards (no name needed)
- Items to be kept at home but ready for school recess on snowy days: snow boots, snow pants, mittens and a dry pair of socks for outside play

Kindergarten Afternoon Snack
- Hilltop Kindergarten students eat their lunch at 10:45. For this reason, the students have an afternoon snack daily. Each day the children are offered a variety of snacks to choose from.
- Each child is asked to bring non-perishable, individually pre-packaged, snack for 24 students (this number may change :) at the beginning of every month to share with the class.
- If your child has a food allergy on record with the school nurse, you will need to provide a personal snack box and snacks for your child. Please speak to the school nurse concerning any food allergies.
